He says that it is a Karian city, which we have not been able to find. It is a certain region of the Sikeloi. The ethnonym is 'Abakaininos', as in 'Akragantinos', a formation not unusual among the Sikeloi: 'Metapontinos', 'Leontinos', 'Brentesinos', 'Terentinos', 'Arretinos', 'Assorinos', 'Erykinos'.
