Kolias: a headland, that is, a coast at Phaleron, where there is also Aphrodite Kolias. The place is so called: for it lies out and is like a man’s buttock. The locatives are 'Koliasthen' and 'Kolioi' and 'Koliade'. The ethnonym is 'Kolieus', whence also 'Kolias' and 'Kolion'. Also 'Kolioi', as in 'Sounioi'.
