Stephanos of Byzantium - Ethnika
Kolias: a promontory or maybe a headland at Phaleron, where there is also Aphrodite Kolias. The place is so called because as it stretches out it looks like human buttocks. The locative terms are 'Koliathen', 'Kolioi' and 'Koliade'. The ethnonym is 'Kolieus', from which is also 'Kolias', and the neuter 'Kolion'; there is also 'Kolioi'.
