Stephanos of Byzantium - Ethnika
Bebrykes: two peoples, the one by the Pontos in Asia, the other by the Iberians in Europe. Concerning the one in Asia there have been different opinions, that it is from Bebryx or from Bebryke, and others otherwise. The ethnonym Bebrykios and Bebrykia. Bebryssa is also found, as 'Phoinissa' 'Kilissa' 'Thressa'. For the 's' has affinity with the 'x'.
