Βουπράσιον, πόλις καὶ ποταμὸς καὶ χώρα τῆς Ἤλιδος “οἳ δ´ ἄρα Βουπράσιόν τε καὶ Ἤλιδα δῖαν ἔναιον”. ἦν γὰρ κατοικία τῆς Ἤλιδος ἀξιόλογος, ἥ τις νῦν οὐκ ἔστι. τὸ ἐθνικὸν Βουπρασιεύς καὶ Βουπράσιος, ἀπὸ Βουπρασίου τοῦ ἄρξαντος αὐτῶν, καὶ Βουπρασία τὸ θηλυκόν, καὶ Βουπρασίωνες ὡς Καδμείωνες.
