Βουπράσιον, πόλις καὶ ποταμὸς καὶ χώρα τῆς Ἤλιδος “οἳ δ´ ἄρα Βουπράσιόν τε καὶ Ἤλιδα δῖαν ἔναιον”. ἦν γὰρ κατοικία τῆς Ἤλιδος ἀξιόλογος, ἥ τις νῦν οὐκ ἔστι. τὸ ἐθνικὸν Βουπρασιεύς καὶ Βουπράσιος, ἀπὸ Βουπρασίου τοῦ ἄρξαντος αὐτῶν, καὶ Βουπρασία τὸ θηλυκόν, καὶ Βουπρασίωνες ὡς Καδμείωνες.

Bouprasion: a city and river and region of Elis: "and those who dwelt in Bouprasion and goodly Elis". For it was a notable settlement of Elis, which now does not exist. The ethnonym Bouprasieus and Bouprasios, from Bouprasios who ruled them, and Bouprasia the feminine, and Bouprasiones as 'Kadmeiones'.
