Ogygia: an ancient island, where Odysseus was cast ashore from the shipwreck. Boiotia and Thebes too are said to be ‘Ogygia’, after Ogygos son of Termera. The.....; the Lykians too are called ‘Ogygioi’ from this same Ogygos. All Attike too used to be called ‘Ogygia’, as Charax says in his Chronika.
