Φάλγα, κώμη μέση Σελευκείας τῆς Πιερίας καὶ τῆς ἐν Μεσοποταμίᾳ. Ἀρριανὸς ἐν ιʹ Παρθικῶν. ἡ δὲ φάλγα γλώσσῃ τῇ ἐπιχωρίῳ τὸ μέσον δηλοῖ. τὸ ἐθνικὸν Φαλγηνός καὶ Φαλγαῖος, ὡς Ἐδεσσηνός καὶ Ἐδεσσαῖος καὶ Καρρηνός καὶ Καρραῖος, τὸ μὲν κατὰ λόγον τὸ δὲ κατὰ τὸ ἐπιχώριον.
