Kasion: a mountain and city in Egypt near Pelousion. It was named after the Cycladic island, or after Kasos son of Kleochos, after whom the sanctuary of Zeus 'Kasios' is too. A citizen is a 'Kasiotes' and the feminine is 'Kasiotis'. The possessive is 'Kasiotikos', from which come the 'Kasiotic' cloaks in the common tongue.
