Telphousa: Telphousa, a city of Arcadia, from a nymph called Telphousa, daughter of Ladon. The inhabitant 'Telphousios'. The feminine 'Telphousia'. Lycophron: "Telphousia, the helper of justice, will permit". There is also a Telphousion of Boeotia, Strabo in the ninth book. But Ephorus Tilphosaion, a mountain in Alalkomenia. "Pindar also calls it 'Kephisis'". There is also in Boeotia the Tilphosa spring and mountain, from Tilphousa. But Herodian says 'Tilphossa'.
