Tiberias: Tiberias, a city of Judaea on the Lake of Gennesaret. It was founded by Herod. From it was Justus, who wrote the history of the Jewish war against Vespasian. The citizen 'Tiberieus'. But the emperor Julian wrote Tiberiopolitai, and clearly as if the city were called Tiberioupolis; the feminine Tiberias.
