Stephanos of Byzantium - Ethnika
Amarynthos: an island of Euboia, from a certain huntsman of Artemis, Amarynthos. The ethnonym Amarynthios and Amarysios as 'Trikorysios'; for so Pausanias in the first. But the form with 's' seems to me more analogical.

Ἀμάρυνθος, νῆσος Εὐβοίας, ἀπό τινος κυνηγοῦ τῆς Ἀρτέμιδος Ἀμαρύνθου. τὸ ἐθνικὸν Ἀμαρύνθιος καὶ Ἀμαρύσιος ὡς Τρικορύσιος· οὕτω γὰρ Παυσανίας ἐν πρώτῃ. ἀναλογώτερον δέ μοι δοκεῖ τὸ διὰ τοῦ « σ ».
