Stephanos of Byzantium - Ethnika
Anazarba: a city of Cilicia. It is named from the mountain lying before it or from Anazarbas the founder. The ethnonym Anazarbeus as 'Karyandeus'. From it was Dioskourides the most distinguished physician, styled Anazarbeus, and Asklepiades the Anazarbean, who wrote many other things and a book about rivers.
