Stephanos of Byzantium - Ethnika
Artymnesos: a city of Lycia, a colony of the Xanthians. The ethnonym Artymneseus. Menekrates in the first of the Lykiaka says that when Xanthos became populous the elders divided into three parts, and of these some went to Kragos and, dwelling on the mountain, settled a round hill and called the city Pinara, which is translated 'round'. For they call all round things 'pinara'....
