Mounychia: a harbour of Attica, from Monychos. And a sanctuary of Mounychian Artemis. The inhabitant Mounychios and Mounychias. The locatives Mounychiathen and Mounychiaze and Mounychiasin. Of which Thucydides the relation to the place in the eighth: "commander of those posted at Mounychia".
