Μύρλεια, πόλις Βιθυνίας, ἡ νῦν λεγομένη Ἀπάμεια ἀπὸ Μύρλου τοῦ Κολοφωνίων ἡγεμόνος. Νικομήδης δὲ ὁ Ἐπιφανής, Προυσίου δὲ υἱός, ἀπὸ τῆς μητρὸς Ἀπάμας Ἀπάμειαν ὠνόμασεν· οἱ δὲ ἀπὸ Μυρλείας Ἀμαζόνος. ὁ πολίτης Μυρλεανός, ὡς Ἀσκληπιάδης Μυρλεανὸς ἀναγράφεται. Στράβων δὲ Μυρλεᾶτιν καλεῖ τὴν χώραν, ἴσως ἀπὸ τοῦ Μυρλεάτης. ἔστι καὶ Μυρλεανὸς κόλπος.
