Μῶβα, μοῖρα τῆς Ἀραβίας. Οὐράνιος ἐν Ἀραβικῶν δευτέρῳ. οἱ οἰκοῦντες Μωβηνοί, καὶ θηλυκῶς Μωβηνή. ἔοικε δ´ ἐνδεῖν τὸ « α ». ἦν γὰρ Μώαβα καὶ τὸ ἐθνικὸν Μωαβίτης, τὸ θηλυκὸν Μωαβῖτις.

Mōba: a district of Arabia. Ouranios in book 2 of the Arabika. The inhabitants are called Mōbenoi, and in the feminine Mōbenē. But it seems that an alpha is lacking; for it was Mōaba; and the ethnic is Mōabītēs, feminine Mōabîtis.
