Nēsos: a city in the sea. One who inhabits it is nēsitēs, just as Kānōbos—Kānōbitēs. But from nēsion nēsiōtēs and, in the feminine, nēsiōtis. Also nēsaîos, as chersaîos. The possessive adjective is nēsiōtikos. There is also a city Nēsos in Iberia.
