Xypetē: a deme of the Cecropis tribe. The demotic is Xypeteōn, as Makedōn. The locative is from Xypeteōnes as: eis Xypeteōnōn, and en Xypeteōnōn. Philochorus, however, says that the deme is Xypeteōnōn, with omega and with omicron small at the end.
