Δαραί, ὃ ν[ῦν Δά]ρας φασί, φρούριον Ἀναστασιούπολις λεγόμενον, ὀχυρώτατον. ὁ πολίτης Δαρηνός ὡς Δουσαρά Δουσαρηνός. δύναται καὶ Δαραῖος. εἰσὶ δὲ Δαρραί διὰ δύο « ρρ » ἔθνος πρὸς τῇ Ἐρυθρᾷ θαλάσσῃ.

Darae: what they now call Dara, a fort called Anastasiopolis, very strongly fortified. The ethnic is Darēnos, as Dousarē → Dousarēnos; one may also say Daraïos. There are also Darraï, a people by the Red Sea.
