Δρεπάνη, ἡ Φαιακία. τὸ ἐθνικὸν Δρεπανεύς ὡς Σχεριεύς. ἔστι καὶ πόλις Λυκίας Δρεπάνα· ὁ πολίτης ὁμοίως. καὶ Δρέπανα οὐδετέρως, πόλις Σικελίας. ἔστι καὶ Δρέπανον πόλις Λιβύης. εἰσὶ καὶ νησία δύο παρὰ Λέβινθον. ἔστι καὶ Δρεπάνη Βιθυνίας πρὸς τῷ Ἀστακηνῷ κόλπῳ. ἔστι καὶ ὄρος Αἰθιοπίας. τῆς δὲ Βιθυνίας φησὶν ὠνομάσθαι ὅτι “Δρεπάνην κλείουσιν ἀπὸ Κρονίδαο σιδήρου”. τὸ ἐθνικὸν Δρεπανεύς, καὶ θηλυκὸν Δρεπανηίς.
