Ἐνετοί, Ὅμηρος “ἐξ Ἐνετῶν, ὅθεν ἡμιόνων γένος ἀγροτεράων”. ᾤκουν δὲ περὶ Παφλαγονίαν. λέγονται καὶ Ἐνετίδες ἵπποι. ἦν δὲ καὶ κτητικὸν [Ἐνετικός]. ἔστι καὶ πόλις Ἐνετός ἀφ´ ἧς ἦν Μύρμηξ ὁ διαλεκτικὸς φιλόσοφος, ὡς Διογένης ἐν δευτέρῳ φιλοσόφου ἱστορίας.

Enetoi: Homer: "from the Enetoi, whence is the race of wild mules". They dwelt around Paphlagonia. Enetian mares are also spoken of. There was also a possessive. There is also a city Enetos, from which was Myrmex the dialectical philosopher, as Diogenes in the second of the Philosophical History.
