Καλαμένθη, ἥ τις καὶ Καλαμίνθη πόλις Λιβύης. Ἑκαταῖος περιηγήσει. κρεῖττον οὖν ὡς Ἡρόδοτος διὰ τοῦ « ι » πόλις Φοινίκων.
Kalaménthē, also called Kalaminthē, a city of Libya. Hekataios (mentions it) in his *Periegesis*. It is therefore better, as Herodotos has it, to write it with iota: a city of the Phoenicians.
