Καπρίη, νῆσος Ἰταλίας. Ἑκαταῖος Εὐρώπῃ. λέγονται καὶ Καπριαί· τὸ ἐθνικὸν Καπριάτης. ἐντεῦθεν ἦν Βλαῖσος σπουδογελοίων ποιητὴς Καπριάτης.
Kapriē: an island of Italy. Hekataios in his *Europa*. It is also said (sc. in the plural) “Kapriai.” The ethnic (gentilic) is Kapriatēs. From there was Blaios, a poet of spoudo-geloia (“serio-comic” pieces), a Kapriatēs.
