Stephanos of Byzantium - Ethnika
Karmania: a region of India. Strabo, book 15. The ethnonym is 'Karmanioi', also in the feminine and neuter; also 'Karmanoi' and 'Karmanis'. There is also Karmana, an island, perhaps named after the 'Karmanoi'.
