Stephanos of Byzantium - Ethnika
Kreston: a city in Thrace. It seems to be the Kreston in Herodotus. Lykophron: ‘to make the god of Krestone too swear’. The citizen-name is ‘Krestonaios’ in Pindar. Rhianos says that they are ‘Krestonioi’. Hekataios in Europe calls them ‘Krestones’. There is also the possessive ‘Krestonikon’.
