Kreston: a city of Thrace. It seems to be the Kreston in Herodotus, book 1. Lykophron: ‘to swear also by the god of Krestone’. A citizen is a 'Krestonaios', in Pindar. Rianos says they themselves are 'Krestonioi'. Hekataios says they themselves are 'Krestones' in Europe. Also 'Krestonikon' as the possessive.
