Κρουσίς, μοῖρα τῆς Μυγδονίας. Στράβων ἑβδόμῃ. ἡ γενικὴ Κρουσίδος. ἀπὸ Κρούσιος τοῦ Μυγδόνος υἱοῦ. τῷ τοπικῷ ἔθει Κρουσιδεύς ὡς Χαλκιδεύς. ἔστι δὲ Κρουσιεύς. καί ἐστι θηλυκὸν ὁμώνυμον Κρουσὶς γῆ.
Krousis: a district of Mygdonia. Strabo, book 7. The genitive is Krousidos. (The name is) derived from Krousios, son of Mygdon. According to local usage the ethnic is Krousideus, as (one says) Chalkideus; but there is also Krousieus. There is also a feminine homonym, Krousis, meaning “Krousis-land.”
