Κρουσίς, μοῖρα τῆς Μυγδονίας. Στράβων ἑβδόμῃ. ἡ γενικὴ Κρουσίδος. ἀπὸ Κρούσιος τοῦ Μυγδόνος υἱοῦ. τῷ τοπικῷ ἔθει Κρουσιδεύς ὡς Χαλκιδεύς. ἔστι δὲ Κρουσιεύς. καί ἐστι θηλυκὸν ὁμώνυμον Κρουσὶς γῆ.

Krousis: a district of Mygdonia. Strabo, book 7. The genitive is Krousidos. derived from Krousios, son of Mygdon. According to local usage the ethnic is Krousideus, as Chalkideus; but there is also Krousieus. There is also a feminine homonym, Krousis, meaning “Krousis-land.”
