Λακίνιον, ὄρος Κρότωνος. Λυκόφρων “καὶ Λακινίους μυχούς”. τὸ ἐθνικὸν Λακίνιος, καὶ τὸ κύριον τοῦ ἥρωος, ἀφ´ οὗ τὸ ὄρος. τὸ θηλυκὸν Λακινιάς, καὶ ἡ χώρα Λακινία ὡς Κυδωνία, καὶ τὸ ἐθνικὸν Λακινιάτης.
