Zakynthos: a city, from Zakynthos the son of Dardanos. Homer both in the masculine and the feminine: "and wooded Zakynthos" and "wooded Zakynthos". Second, of Iberia. Third, of Libya, which some have also recorded as Zakynthia. The citizen of Zakynthos Zakynthios and Zakynthia, of Zakynthia Zakynthianos as 'Adrianos', or Zakynthieus as 'Akanthieus' 'Oichalieus'.
