Κύρου πόλις, ἣ καὶ Κυρέσχατα καλεῖται, πόλις πρὸς τοῖς ἐσχάτοις Περσίδος. ὁ πολίτης καθ´ ἡμᾶς Κυροπολίτης, κατὰ δὲ Πέρσας Κυρεσχατηνοί ὡς Ἀραξηνοί καὶ Καμβυσηνοί.

Kyrou polis, also called 'Kyreschata': a city at the farthest limits of Persia. A citizen, for us, is a 'Kyropolites', but among the Persians they are 'Kyreschathenoi'.
